Last December I went to
Surabaya to take a break from my busy workdays. I took leave for 4 days (Dec 29th
– Dec 31st and Jan 02nd), and because of end-of-year-holiday,
I got the whole week off (it was a big YAYYYY!).
Actually I could take the night
flight on Dec 24th after office hour (if I did, I got 2 whole weeks
off), but because my cousin from Holland came for holiday in Jakarta before
heading to Bali, I really wanted to meet her and her boyfriend since I haven’t
met her about 8 YEARS!
So, in Surabaya when I went
to some malls like Tunjungan Plaza and Surabaya Town Square, I saw The Body
Shop did a lot of sale (fortunately for some of the product I’ve almost used
up) that didn’t even happen in TBS Jakarta.
And, yepp you guys guess
right; I’ve gone MAD!
I strolled for hours in the
store, but not to disappoint the sales-girl, I did buy a lot (yesss, I mean A
LOT!). Aaaannd, in this post I would like to share with you what I’ve bought
back in December 2014 – my self-gift for Christmas and New Year. Here it is!

| 1. Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash |
The sales-girl said that seaweed is good for oily skin. My skin actually kind of combination, since it's just oily on the T-area, but I felt like I need to try it even my current facial wash still a lot. So, without realizing it, I putted it on the basket.

| 2. Moringa Body Sorbet |
Out of all skin products that used for moisturizing skin, I didn't know that there are things named Body Sorbet, and I don't even know what's the use for, if the sales-girl didn't tell me; which is the same with body-butter/cream/lotion that has the body moisturizing function. It has almost clear/transparent color and unique texture, same feeling like when I want to put on some scrub but the different is this sorbet melted right away after few rubs on my skin. I chose this moringa scent cause it smells refresh, and if I were to pick another, the strawberry scent also a perfect one.

| 3. Passion Fruit Body Butter |
I have this habit to smell out every body butter in TBS store because every scent smells relaxing and you can smell the natural ingredients. If I didn't buy a lot this time, the sales-girl probably chased me out already. Hahaha this passion fruit body butter is perfect if you guys are easily bored with one scent and need to change the mood for good sake :)

Another best seller fragrance from TBS. Refreshing, relaxing, and not-too-bold scent is the perfect everyday-body-mist-to-go. Boost up my confidence!

| 5. Glazed Apple Products |
It consist of body butter 200ml (I bought 2 of it), hand cream, and a set of travel size glazed apple products (which I only aimed for the travel size body butter but I can still have the shower gel and shower puff). Glazed apple products actually are limited for Christmas 2014 edition, and in Jakarta the glazed apple products are crazily sold out - you have to know, the smell is amazing. | 6. Vitamin E Products |
I used up my Aqua Boost Vit E for about 3 months, and I need to re-purchase it again since I found it not only moisturizing my skin, but also nourishing it. I also use the night cream, and perfect combo. It feels so light on my skin and most important, no breakouts! I try the face mist because of rose scent. Toner just to match up with the aqua boost, but ever since I use this toner, my pimples are almost everywhere. I don't know if I will continue on using this toner or not, but still - it's a good product to try.

As I remember, the ginger body butter actually Halloween edition. Another thought, probably Indonesian don't really like that kind of ginger scent as body lotion, that's why there still some product left and they sell it as clearance sale. At first, I also think that I don't like the smell, since I also don't like eating food with ginger scent. But in fact, I LOVE IT! I wanted to buy body butter in travel size, and with discount, this 3 seasonal scent is going home with me.

The part1 (not all) photo which included the Facial Brush I bought for Rp 39.000. I don't really know how to use, but I bought it because it's cheap and worth to try. All I need, is deep cleansing after makeup use.

| 11. Part 2 (including bonuses from TBS) |
Christmas and New Year gifts for myself.
They gave me the travel makeup bag (yellow) and tote bag (black) with minimum purchased. I swear I didn't chase after this bags, I just buy the products I interested into, and as a reward, they gave me bags! ^_^
Overall, I often count on The Body Shop for my skincare routine, since it's offered me a way to take care of my skin with natural ingredients, so I love it.
The smells are refreshing and match with my preferences. If any of you have another recommended products from The Body Shop, I would love to try. Just link down your blog review in the comment section and I will check it out.
