[REVIEW] Hada Labo Goku-jyun Ultimate Moisturizing Milk

Hallo!

Just like how I review the Hada Labo Goku-jyun Ultimate Moisturizing Lotion here, next product I should introduce is the Ultimate Moisturizing Milk, which is the ideal next step after using the Lotion / Light Lotion. At the video in my previous Hada Labo Goku-jyun Moisturizing Lotion, the beauty consultant taught us that the Lotion help the next product to absorb perfectly into the skin.

If you curious about the differentiation, function in detail, and such introduction, please head on my previous post here. To get the full size photo of the product, please click on the photo. And now, we'll see how's the Milk goes..

DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this Milk is to infuse the skin with moisture while locking the hydrating power of Hada Labo Goku-jyun Lotion. This milk provides deep, nourishing hydration and skin-smoothing conditioners for face and neck. It's light texture is perfect for daily routine.

With fragrance and colorant free, they make sure that people use only the best ingredients for their skin without any useless excess ingredients. Here's more explanation about the Super Hyaluronic Acid presented by Hada Labo.

The bottle contains of 100ml (nett), and if you use it normally for day only, it can last for so long. 4-5 months probably is good enough. This little, really goes a long way.

PRICE
Rp 49.500 /bottle

MAIN INGREDIENTS
Read my previous review about the Lotion to know more about the main ingredients.

PACKAGING
Same with the Lotion, this milk packed in a plastic bottle with a lid that has small hole for the milk to come out. Not travel friendly, but they provide a travel kit in smaller version. For this kinda small hole, I actually prefer they made the surface to be pointy. So that the milk easily flow out, but since the surface is flat, somehow the water spilled everywhere around the lid when I pour it on my palm.

Size 100 ml

Lid that prevent the spill

SCENT / FRAGRANCE
What's best from this skincare line from Rohto is FRAGRANCE FREE.

COLOR / TEXTURE
Not as watery as the Lotion. This milk is like the version of thicker milk, but still runny. The color is creamy white but turns clear after applied to skin.

The consistency is quite watery but hydrating. Take longer to absorb well.

MY-OWN-HOW-TO-USE
  1. Because there is another version of night cream, I only use this milk as day cream, like how I put on my usual moisturizer. But you can use this twice a day too.
  2. Squeeze a dime size amount into your hands and gently massage onto your face and neck until thoroughly absorbed.
  3. Wait until the product is fully absorbed, then continue with your daily beauty routine.
      PLUS (+) AND NEGATIVE (-) POINTS

      (+) Fragrance and colorant free;
      (+) Affordable price, compare to the size and content;
      (+) Skin felt moisturized after applied;
      (+) Suitable for normal to dry skin;

      BUT
      (-) Hello, acnes! Another breakouts. I read, for some acne prone skin, they tend to breakout when use Hada Labo. That feeling when you got to read those 'naughty' review after you broke out a lot was.... *ughh
      (-) My face felt heavy after applied. Maybe it's the sign that my skin was moisturized enough to the point of my pores felt heavy. HAHAHA but sincerely, I don't like this feeling. I'd prefer some light cream to use as my day cream.
      (-) Take time to get absorbed to the skin. Probably I have to pat and air dry around 5 minutes to let it absorbed. For people like me who always in a rush in the morning, I didn't recommend you guys to take this kinda product.

      AM I GOING TO BUY IT AGAIN?
      No, thank you for my own question. I don't like this acne feeling anymore. One or two somehow could be OK, but for the entire forehead... I'd say no, thank you. You might be saying that the cause of my cystic acne was the Lotion. But then, I did try for another round, girls. I stopped using the Lotion, clear my acne enough, and start again using this Milk only, but then..... BAAAAMMMMMM!!! *you know what could happened* (cry the river).

      TIPS
      1. Since this product isn't a domestic brand, it's best when we pay more attention to the products that has passed the test from BPOM Indonesia (Badan Pengawasan Obat-obatan dan Makanan). BPOM is a government agencies that responsible for overseeing all domestic or international brand for food and medicine, including the beauty brand. Even so, there are a lot of fake product with fake BPOM number too, so be more careful.
      2. If you still doubt if your skin could absorb the product well or not, might as well you buy the mini travel size first, so you can see how your skin react to the product. And pay attention to the ingredients that might not fit well with your skin condition.
      3. Some tips from the Hada Labo themselves said that for better moisture, you better use the Hada Labo Goku-jyun Serum before applying this milk, and apply another layer of Hada Labo Goku-jyun Ultimate Moisturizing Cream afterwards. *ehemm, for this humid weather in Jakarta, too thick, my bro*
      4. Consult with the specialist or dermatologist if there are symptom of irritation on your skin.

      RATING
