[REVIEW] Hada Labo Goku-jyun Ultimate Moisturizing Lotion

I'm finally back with beauty product review since the last time I reviewed my all time favorite moisturizing here. Many ups and downs happened in my life and it all screwed me up. Focusing is a challenge for me because my mind keep distracted somewhere. I know many of you ever had this kind of feelings, but believe me, you're not alone :)

Gw akhirnya balik buat ngasi review produk kecantikan sejak terakhir kali gw ngasi review tentang pelembab favorit sepanjang masa gw disini nihh. Banyak kejadian baik dan buruk yang akhir-akhir ini terjadi dan kalo mo fokus nulis itu rasanya kayak mo nyari tiket murah dari Jakarta-Manado (susahhh minta ampyunnn cyinn). Gw tau pasti gak cuman gw aja yg ngerasain dilema kegalauan tingkat tinggi kek gini, tapi percaya dehh lu gak sendirian, girlss.. *sisterhood never dies*

Anyway, I really curious of many skincare that are very cheap and most people say only good thing about it. I researched so many articles and reviews from another beauty blogger about this product and I decided to give it a go. It's a drugstore product and easily found in Indonesia. Carefour, Guardian, Century, they sell the entire clan of this product, which is Hada Labo Goku-jyun Ultimate Moisturizing Lotion. I bought the entire series of this product for moisturizing function, together with Ultimate Moisturizing Milk and Ultimate Moisturizing Cream. You may notice that the term is most likely the same : Lotion, Milk, and Cream. What the hell is that? Here's the differences :

Gimanapun juga, gw sering banget penasaran sama skincare yang murah dan banyak orang pada bilang baguss. Gw akhirnya cari tau di berbagai artikel dan testimonial beberapa beauty blogger sampe akhirnya gw mutusin bakal cobain. Produknya gampang banget didapetin di Indonesia. Carefour, Guardian, Century, pasti pada jual ni seantero produk dan seriannya, yaitu Hada Labo Goku-jyun Ultimate Moisturizing Lotion. Gw beli berbarengan dengan 2 produk lain, yaitu Milk dan Cream. Pasti lu pada bingung kok istilahnya sama smua kan? Nihh perbedaannya..

Light Lotion	Same function with Lotion, but with a lighter texture. Punya fungsi yang sama kayak Lotion, tapi teksture nya lebih ringan.	Clear like toner. Bening, cair.	Oily, combination, or acne prone skin. Kulit berminyak, kombinasi, atau kulit yang rentan jerawat.
Milk	Infuse your skin with moisture while locking in the hydrating power of the Lotion/Light Lotion. This milk provides deep, nourishing hydration and skin-smoothing conditioners for face and neck. Ideal use as your day cream. Memberikan kelembaban ke kulit dan mengunci kekuatan kelembaban dari Lotion sebelumnya. Milk ini memberikan nutrisi kelembaban dan kehalusan kulit untuk wajah dan leher. Biasanya digunakan sebagai pelembab pagi/siang.	Watery white cream. Krim, tapi tidak kental. Masih sedikit berair.	Normal to dry skin. Kulit normal hingga kering.
Cream	Moisturize your face and neck, leaving you with dewy, more supple skin. Lock in moisture while enhancing your skin’s natural restorative powers. Ideal for night time use, but can also be used during the day, especially when you need extra moisturizing power or protection against harsh condition. Memberikan kelembaban pada wajah dan leher, membuat kulit kita menjadi lembab dan elastis, serta mengembalikan kekuatan kelembaban alami wajah. Biasanya digunakan untuk malam hari, namun bisa juga digunakan untuk siang hari disaat kita membutuhkan kelembaban ekstra atau perlindungan terhadap kondisi udara yang buruk.	Luxuriously thick cream. Krim kental.	Dry skin. Kulit kering.

So, after you know what are the differences and how the utilization of those products, let's move on to the review. But for this post, I'll review about Hada Labo Goku-jyun Ultimate Moisturizing Lotion.

Jadi, setelah lu tau apa aja bedanya dan untuk apa penggunaan produk-produk tadi, yukk kita liatin review-nya. Postingan kali ini, gw bakal bahas tentang Hada Labo Goku-jyun Ultimate Moisturizing Lotion.

DESCRIPTION

From Japan, with love, most people tend to use this lotion as toner or as serum or essence that can emphasize the moisture on the skin. But just like how I describe each items at the table above, it's used to prepare the skin to receive the other Hada Labo moisturizing products, to get a better absorption. Being claimed that this product sold 1 every 2 seconds in Japan, it's very impressive record. I mean, in a day, they could sell around 43.200 items. Who can achieve that excellent record?

Dari Jepang, dengan cinta, banyak orang cenderung pake lotion ini (kebanyakan anak-anak sekolah yang nyari pelembab yang murah tapi bagus) sebagai toner ato serum ato essence. Tapi kayak yang udah gw bilang di tabel diatas, lotion ini digunakan untuk meresap produk skincare langkah selanjutnya. Yahhh beti-beti lahh sama toner begetohh. Katanya sihh, terjual 1 botol tiap 2 detik! Bayangin aja dalam 1 hari bisa kejual 43.200 botol. Pecaya gak?

Tanpa pewangi dan pewarna,Rohto mastiin kalo asupan yang diminum sama kulit kita tuh hanya bahan-bahan yang penting saja untuk kesehatan kulit. Nih foto deskripsi yang gw dapet dari internet :

The bottle contains of 100ml (nett), and if you use it normally twice a day, it can last for so long. 4 months probably is good enough. Save money for the best item your wallet could afford.

Botolnya yang gede seisi 100ml, dan kalo dipake normal 2x sehari, mungkin bisa abis sekitar 4 bulanan. Dengan harga dibawah ini, ga bakal berasa dehh pengeluarannya tiap 3 bulan sekali.

MAIN INGREDIENTS

The main ingredient that Rohto company really emphasized about, is the "Super Hyaluronic Acid" which will be describe better in the picture below. But more surprisingly, not just 1 type of HA, but there are 3 types that contains in a simple bottle of this Hada Labo Goku-jyun Ultimate Moisturizing Lotion.

Bahan utama yang ditonjolkan dari perusahaan Rohto ini adalah "Super Hyaluronic Acid" yang akan dijelasin di gambar dibawah ini. Tapi, bukan cuma 1 HA yang dikembangkan, tapi sampe 3, buat memaksimalkan kelembaban dibawah kulit.

PACKAGING

This lotion packed in a plastic bottle with a lid that has small hole for the lotion to come out. Not travel friendly, but they provide a travel kit in smaller version. For this kinda small hole, I actually prefer they made the surface to be pointy. So that the water easily flow out, but since the surface is flat, somehow the water spilled everywhere around the lid when I pour it on my palm.


Lotion ini dikemas dalam botol plastik yang ada lubang kecil di bagian tutupnya. Gak gampang buat dibawa kemana-mana sih, tapi mereka juga jual yang travel kit buat bepergian kok. Ukurannya kecil dan ringkes. Lubang pada tutupnya sebenarnya kecil dan kalopun botolnya dikocok ga bakal tumpah, tapi sebaiknya bagian permukaannya dibuat ada ujungnya, biar gampang keluarinnya dan gak meluber kemana-mana pas di tuangkan ke tangan.

SCENT / FRAGRANCE

FRAGRANCE FREE, gurlzz! I try to smell it close up to my nose, but i can smell nothing. Well done, Rohto! For a skincare routine like this, it's best to use the fragrance free product.

Gak pake bau, teman-teman! Gw coba deketin ni cairan ke lubang idung gw, tapi ternyata emang ga ada bau. Kerja yang baik, Rohto! Buat perawatan kulit yang rutin seperti ini, sebaiknya memang gak menggunakan yang ada pewangi, karena bisa menyumbat pori-pori dan bikin jerawat jujjaaa....

MY-OWN-HOW-TO-USE

1. Like how I use my moisturizer after I cleanse my face, I use it twice a day, in the morning before the make up and in the night.
2. I pour some lotion, just enough amount to cover my entire face, and sweep it around my face, start from the cheek, forehead, jawline, and neck. After that, I gently pat the lotion until it absorbed. They suggest to make sure the product absorbed to the skin before use the next product. So I pat the lotion by following the Hada Labo tutorial. I'll embed the video below, make sure you watch it *wink*
3. After the skin feels sticky, I let it air dry for a minute and continue with the next product.

1. Sama dengan cara gw pake pelembab, abis gw cuci muka baru deh gw pake ni lotion. Gw pakenya 2x sehari, pagi sebelum make up, dan malam.
2. Gw tuangin dikit (dikira-kira aja, tapi gak perlu kebanyakan, yang penting bisa buat satu muka lahh) ke telapak tangan, trus gw sapuin ke bagian wajah, mulai dari pipi, dahi, bagian rahang, dan leher. Setelah itu, tepuk perlahan sampe meresap. Gimana caranya tau udah meresap ato belum? Nihh dibawah bakal gw kasi cara tepuk-tepuknya yang benar.
3. Setelah kulit terasa agak lengket, biarin kering pake udara dikit dan lanjut pake produk berikutnya.

PLUS (+) AND NEGATIVE (-) POINTS

(+) Fragrance and colorant free;

(+) Affordable price, compare to the content; 

(+) Skin feels elastic and moisturized after absorbed; 

(+) Suitable for normal to dry skin. For you who has oily/combination/acne prone skin, you can choose the Light Lotion which works the same;

(+) Gak ada pewangi dan pewarna;
(+) Harganya murah jika dibandingkan dengan isinya dan masa penggunaannya;
(+) Kulit terasa elastis dan lembab segera setelah meresap;
(+) Cocok buat kulit normal ke kering. Buat lu yang muka berminyak ato kombinasi ato rentan jerawat, sebaiknya pake yang Light Lotion yahh, kerjanya sama aja. 

BUT

(-) I got a lot of breakouts after using this for 2 nights. And a very hardcore one, cystic acne! T_____T

(-) Take time to get absorbed to the skin. Probably I have to pat around 3-4 minutes to let it absorbed. For people like me who always in a rush in the morning, I didn't recommend you guys to take this kinda product. 

(-) Gw JERAWATANN congg! Cuman pake 2 malam doang, dan jerawat gw timbul kayak dendam seumur hidup. Ohya, bukan jerawat biasa, jerawat batu! Tiap kali liat kaca rasanya pengen nangis jedot pala ke dinding.
(-) Lama buat meresap ke kulit. Mungkin harus ditepuk sekitar 3-4 menit baru bisa kerasa lengketnya. Buat lu yang selalu rempong pas pagi-pagi karena bangun kesiangan kayak gw, mungkin gw ga rekomendasiin produk ini ke lu. Kecuali lu rela bangun pagi. Hihihi

It leaves matte finish after pat for 3-4 minutes

AM I GOING TO BUY IT AGAIN?

Definitely no, since it really broke down my face. It's hard to heal the cystic acne, but since my mother wants to try it, I decided to hand it over to her. Who knows, her rough skin can easily gulp down this type of moisturizer. *cry the river*

Gak bakalan beli lagi deh kayaknya, karena jerawat batu yang timbul tuh. Emak gw mo nyobain, jadi gw kasi dia buat pake. Soalnya untungnya nyokap cocok sama produk apapun, jadi ga seberapa sensitif kulitnya. Nah gw??? *nangis di pojokan bawa ember air mata*

TIPS

1. Since this product isn't a domestic brand, it's best when we pay more attention to the products that has passed the test from BPOM Indonesia (Badan Pengawasan Obat-obatan dan Makanan). BPOM is a government agencies that responsible for overseeing all domestic or international brand for food and medicine, including the beauty brand. Even so, there are a lot of fake product with fake BPOM number too, so be more careful.
2. If you still doubt if your skin could absorb the product well or not, might as well you buy the mini travel size first, so you can see how your skin react to the product. And pay attention to the ingredients that might not fit well with your skin condition.
3. Consult with the specialist or dermatologist if there are symptom of irritation on your skin.

1. Karena ini produk import, sebaiknya perhatiin tanda atau kode yang menyatakan bahwa sudah lolos uji tes dari BPOM. Biar aman tuhh pakenya di kulit, jangan nyesel dikemudian hari.
2. Kalo lu masih ragu cocok ato gaknya, sebaiknya beli yang mini aja dulu. Buat dicoba. Dan perhatiin juga bahan yang gak cocok buat kulit lu.
3. Konsultasi sama spesialis kulit atau kecantikan jika ada gejala iritasi di kulit. Siapa tau bukan cuman dari produk kecantikan lu yang bermasalah, tapi mungkin dari gaya hidup atau pola makan. Stay healthy ya jengg!
